Chorus Contracts Sent Home...

Today chorus contracts were sent home with all the students who returned an interest form. Please take time to read the information before signing the contract. Also, please notice that I am asking both you and your student to sign the contract. Typically when students participate in signing a contract, they are more likely to follow through with their committment. Also, there is an information sheet asking for telephone numbers and other information so that I am able to get information to you and have a way to contact you in case of emergency. This sheet also provides you with an opportunity to sign up and help out in some different areas throughout the year.

Please return these contracts no later than Friday, September 16.

CHORUS REHEARSALS BEGIN WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21.

More About The Constitution Program

Fifth Grade Parents...

On Thursday September 15, 2005 the fifth grade students will be performing a program on the history of the United States Constitution. This program is a simple in-school program designed to help our students gain a better understanding of the constitution. Because we are trying to keep this program simple, dress for the program will be simple as well. For boys who have speaking parts, we ask that they wear plain white t-shirts and nice blue jeans. For girls who have speaking parts, they may wear plain red, white or blue t-shirts and nice jeans or skirt. For students who do not have speaking parts, they may wear plain red, white, or blue t-shirts with jeans.

If you have a student with a part, I would ask you to please help them to have that memorized by Monday, September 12. If you have any questions about this program, please let me know. I can be reached by phone at (828) 765-2504 or by email at franklin@sinfonia.org.
